Competition organisation & rules

We kindly inform you that all players who did not manage to register on May 04^th must appear and register at the tournament desk at least 30 min before the start of their discipline to ensure competition starts on time (see time schedule). Players who are not officially checked-in 10 minutes before the start of their competition (deadline) cannot be considered in drawing anymore and will be excluded from the competitions (and their partners, respectively).

We do not allow warming-up and free games on the courts during the competitions! Therefore we ask you to use the three free courts at the end of the Max Schmeling arena (behind the grey courtain).

Competitions of the levels A are held with Yonex AS 30 feather shuttlecocks, levels B+ and B- (for the first time) are held with Yonex AS20 feather shuttlecocks. C level competitions, however, will be held with Yonex Mavis 350 plastic shuttlecocks.

Competition rules:

Applies for men doubles and singles A, all female doubles and singles and all mixed:

• Preliminaries 2 winning sets till 11 points,
• quartel finals to finals 2 winning sets till 21 points.

Applies for all other male doubles and singles (B+, B-, C+, C-):

• Preliminaries/ qualification 1 set to 21 points,
• peloton 2 winning sets till 11 points,
• quartel finals to finals 2 winning sets till 21 points.

If we pooled levels these rules might be subject to change, however all rules will be announced before the start of the tournament (briefing). Due to organisation issues and registrations all rules may be subject to change.
